in our last lesson we talked about enhancing our intuition and how using creativity and the guidance of the High Priestess helps us to tap into that. Intuition is so impactful on taking the advice of all of the other Major Arcana cards it is important that we check in again on how to calm our state and fully rest, being open to listening to what our intuition has to tell us.

these are some common things to get in the way of us hearing our intuition.

it is important to avoid over stimulation like with social media constant work television you have to learn to slow down to allow yourself some quiet time. keep in your thoughts in check because our thoughts create our reality, meaning that it is difficult to hear our intuition when we allow negative thoughts to reduce our sense of well-being. Rest, eating healthy, and exercise, as well as engaging in creative activities helps to quiet your conscious mind.

What will you learn in this course?

Creating Art takes courage, each Art of Wellness lesson we do takes a moment of courage because we step outside our comfort zone.

let’s do an active meditation with The Magician card. You can choose any card deck that you like or you can choose the image that begins this course because that is a Tarot Portrait of The Magician.

Active meditation using The Magician tarot card.

  • Choose somewhere as free from outside noise and distractions as possible.
  • Find a place of comfort to sit, either on the floor or in a chair.
  • place your hands over top of each other open to receive the gift of this meditation.
  • taking a deep breath through your nose and breathing out through your mouth. being present with each of the breath’s as you inhale and exhale longer than the inhale.
  • As you continue breathing like this , visualize the image of The Magician. anchoring the image of either the Tarot Portrait for this course, or one from the deck… mine is from the Light Seers Tarot, in your minds eye.
  • continue breathing until you feel relaxed.
  • With your eyes closed focus on the stillness around you.
  • meditate on The Magician card. you can even do this as an active meditation with your eyes open. look at the image spending time describing to yourself what you see and what the card means to you. it helps often to speak these words or thoughts out into the universe.
  • Holding this imagery before you, engage your intuition, using your small voice within you to make your interpretation.
  • As you open your eyes and stop the meditation hold within your heart these thoughts for we will use them during our creative process.

I am going to give you a list of ways that you can start the day.

there is no set rule on the order find your own equilibrium and balance but seek to do these things to create mindfulness.

  • Make your bed spritzing your bedding with your favorite aroma.
  • Pour yourself a cup of Mugwort tea to increase psychic abilities.
  • Write your morning pages with the “The Artist Way” by Julia Cameron, this is another gentle way to incorporate creativity into your life balance.
  • sit outside with incense burning and write your to do list.
  • Using your intuition journal from less than one write down at least three things you’re grateful for.
  • light a candle to clear the energy space in your home.
  • Stretch to spa music, do a walking meditation, exercise that heart muscle.
  • Clear your inbox and don’t check it until later in the day so that you don’t have all the added static in your life…. start your day fresh!!

The Magician as seen in this Tarot Portrait, brings forth powerful messaging and not only creation but the potential a possibility. This card shows up to remind you that it’s time to be who you are, not who the world expects you to be. The Magician taps into the law of attraction. This is the universal law that says devoting your attention to something can make it real. it’s about realizing your thoughts, and focusing your attention, the  energy of manifestation will follow. whether it is wealth, love, or anything that you desire, you can use the powers of manifestation to make it happen. Our thoughts create our reality, and  The Magician card tells you that YOU. ARE. MAGIC. believe in the power of your Magic.

As you work through the lessons in this course use a crystal as a totem to focus your intention. replace all negativity with creativity.. realize that you are now a maker, a creator of your own universe so there is nothing you cannot dream, there’s nothing that you cannot believe, there is nothing that you cannot have, that you already have within yourself the magic to make that happen.
